Cheer and Dance
The Skyline Prep Cheer and Dance Team brings energy, school spirit, and precision to every event, serving as a vital part of the school’s athletic and community culture. Combining elements of traditional cheerleading with dynamic dance choreography, the team performs at games, pep rallies, and school events—boosting morale and encouraging crowd engagement. These student-athletes are more than performers; they’re leaders who embody pride, teamwork, and commitment both on and off the stage.
With a focus on technical skill, performance quality, and physical conditioning, the team trains regularly under the guidance of dedicated coaches who foster growth, discipline, and unity. Members of the team learn complex routines, stunts, and synchronized movements that showcase their athleticism and creativity. Beyond their performances, the cheer and dance team plays a key role in creating a positive, spirited atmosphere on campus and inspiring their peers through hard work, school pride, and community involvement. As ambassadors of Skyline Prep, they represent the heart and soul of the school’s vibrant student life.
Our cheer and dance team is led by Mrs. Nikkia Wahl!
Mrs. Wahl is an enthusiastic, energetic, and highly experienced dancer and dance educator. She has had the privilege of performing in live concerts with world-renowned artists such as Chris Brown, Neyo, Todrick Hall, T.I., Snoop Dogg, Eminem, & more. Mrs. Wahl has also participated in the Super Bowl XXX Halftime Show with Diana Ross and “Americans Icons Live” Impersonation show, w/ Fame Fusion as a Janet Jackson Impersonator. With a wealth of experience in the entertainment industry and a passion for developing talent, Mrs. Wahl brings unmatched expertise to our program. Under her leadership, our cheer and dance teams have earned widespread respect in the CAA, bringing home more than 10 state championship titles.
