A standout athlete, he served as co-captain of the football team, showcasing strong leadership both on and off the field. In track and field, he capped off his senior year by winning the state championship in the 100-meter dash.
Following high school, Bryant continued his football career at Phoenix College, where he earned All-Region and All-Conference honors over two seasons. His athletic success led him to transfer to the University of Kansas on a full ride football scholarship. At Kansas, he became a key part of the defense, starting every game and leading the secondary in tackles during his senior season. After college, Bryant signed with the Buffalo Bills as a free agent.
After retiring from professional football, Bryant remained active in the sport.
